What is Trademark Renewal?
A registered trademark is valid for 10 years and can be renewed indefinitely for further 10-year periods. Renewal can be filed up to a year before expiry.
If you miss the expiry date, renewal is still possible within six months with an additional fee, and a lapsed mark can be restored within a year. After that, the mark is removed from the register.
